The Ketchikan Story Project was nominated for nine regional Emmy Awards. On June 7, 2014, the project one two Emmy Awards. The first was for "Ketchikan: The Timber Years," which won in the historical/cultural-program/special category. The second was for director-post production, with Richard Cooper as the director.
